Shabdon Ka Tana-Bana: A Memorable Father's Day Open Mic Experience initiative of #Indiapinkfest
Father’s Day eve event celebrates fatherhood through poetry, stories, songs, and personal reflections, inspiring creativity and strengthening family values.
On the eve of Father’s Day, emotions, memories, and heartfelt tributes took center stage as young writers and literature enthusiasts celebrated the invaluable role of fathers through poetry, songs, stories, and personal reflections at the open mic event “Shabdon Ka Taana-Baana.”
Organized by the Young Authors Club of India in collaboration with Kalaneri Art Gallery, the event provided a vibrant platform for emerging literary talents to express their creativity while honoring the love, sacrifices, and guidance of fathers. Inspired by popular songs such as “Papa Kehte Hain Bada Naam Karega” and “Bapu Sehat Ke Liye Tu To Hanikarak Hai,” participants eloquently conveyed their gratitude and admiration for their fathers through diverse literary and artistic presentations.
Encourage young voices
Welcoming the guests, organizer and India Pinkfest Founder - Director Satyajeet Talukdar emphasized the importance of creating platforms that encourage young voices and nurture literary expression.
Event Coordinator Kumari Divya informed that the gathering was attended by distinguished literary enthusiasts and intellectuals, including Prof. Bhawani Shankar Sharma, Mahant Deepak Vallabh Goswami, Ravi Kamra, Vijay Sharma, Soumya Sharma, Jitendra Saraswat, Arun Diwan, Anu Sogani, Khush Narayan Jangir, Dr. Sushma Agrawal, Vijay Dutt, and Purva Ranawat, along with several music and literature lovers.
Audience Applauds Inspiring Expressions
The audience was deeply moved by presentations from Leisa Sharma, Sonal Sharma, Rakshita Singh, Raghvendra, Vipin, Rameshwer, and Yash Gupta, whose compositions beautifully portrayed the struggles, sacrifices, affection, and unwavering support that fathers provide throughout life. Their performances earned enthusiastic applause and created a strong emotional connection with the audience.
Speakers emphasized that fathers are much more than family heads—they are a child’s first mentor, strongest support system, and lifelong source of inspiration. They noted that occasions such as Father’s Day offer a meaningful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate their contributions.
Meaningful dialogue
The event aimed to provide young writers with a platform for creative expression while strengthening social and family values through literature and meaningful dialogue. The program concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants, guests, and supporting organizations, along with a commitment to continue promoting literary engagement among youth through similar initiatives in the future.
The event received valuable support from India Pinkfest, Dhai Akhar Prem Ke, Save Our City, Kala Setu, Message Institution, Pink Welfare Society, Bhikha Ram Chandmal, and India Live Events.
