PinkFest 2025 has set a new benchmark in cultural celebrations with its impressive impact on both physical and digital platforms. Attracting over 151,000 attendees, the festival served as a vibrant gathering place for cultural enthusiasts, students, creators, and citizens. The festival’s digital footprint was equally significant, amassing more than 1.22 million impressions—demonstrating its widespread online engagement and influence.
Attendees were treated to an array of 450+ artworks and installations, showcasing a blend of public art and immersive experiences crafted by a diverse group of artists around the Globe. The cinematic offerings included 165 art films, each delving into themes of heritage, identity, and creative experimentation. Intellectual engagement was a key focus, with over 40 Literary live dialogue sessions and participation from 120+ speakers throughout the country , fostering intergenerational and interdisciplinary discussions. The festival also prioritized skill development through 20 hands-on workshops catering to various age groups. Collaboration with over 26 partner universities and design institutions further enriched the festival’s academic and artistic landscape, creating a robust ecosystem for exploration and innovation. PinkFest 2025 beautifully exemplified the power of cultural festivals to unite and inspire communities.
Nationwide Design & Art Institution Participation at PinkFest
PinkFest 2025 proudly welcomed participation from some of India’s most prestigious art and design institutions—each bringing a unique regional and aesthetic voice to the festival. From the culturally rich corridors of Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, and Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, to the iconic Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Baroda, and the historic Banaras Hindu University (BHU)—students and faculty brought exceptional creativity to life. Esteemed institutions like Kolkata Art College, Delhi College of Art, and others also played a significant role, contributing to installations, workshops, exhibitions, and live artmaking sessions. Their presence not only showcased the future of Indian art and design but also strengthened PinkFest’s mission of nurturing young talent and fostering cultural dialogue across geographies.
