In an atmosphere filled with warmth, nostalgia, and heartfelt emotions, the eve of Mother’s Day witnessed a soulful literary celebration in Jaipur where words transformed into emotions and poetry became a heartfelt tribute to motherhood.
Promoting Literary Awareness Among Youngsters
With the vision of spreading literary awareness among youngsters through engaging creative experiences, the Young Authors Club of India organized a special open mic evening titled “Meri Maa: Shabdon Ka Tanabana” (My Mother: A Weaving of Words) at Chhabra’s Old Town in Malviya Nagar.
Poetry, Music, and Stories Straight From the Heart
The event brought together young poets, storytellers, musicians, and literature enthusiasts who expressed their deepest emotions for mothers through poetry recitations, storytelling performances, soulful songs, and personal memories.
Every presentation beautifully reflected a mother’s unconditional love, silent sacrifices, endless care, and emotional strength, creating an unforgettable emotional connection with the audience.
Performances That Touched Every Heart
The audience was visibly moved as several performances revived memories of childhood, affection, and gratitude. Many listeners were seen wiping tears while applauding the young creators who transformed personal emotions into powerful artistic expressions.
The evening became a celebration not just of literature, but of the irreplaceable bond between a mother and her children.
Eminent Guests and Young Creators Participate
According to event coordinator Divya Meena, the evening witnessed the participation of renowned literary personalities, theatre artists, cultural activists, and social entrepreneurs from the city.
Distinguished guests included Satyajeet Talukdar (Founder Director India Pinkfest, renowned Culture festival ) , Mahant Deepak Vallabh Goswami, former administrative officer Mahendra Surana, IAS officer Devendra Kumar Bharatwal, Ravi Kamra, Dharmendra Chhabra, Professor Bhawani Shankar Sharma, Amit Kalla, Anu Sogani, Aviral Agrawal, Jitendra Saraswat, Shivraj Gurjar, and Vijay Sharma, along with more than 20 emerging young creators who captivated the audience with their heartfelt performances.
Organizers and Supporting Partners
The event was organized by the Young Authors Club of India with support from India Pinkfest - Celebration of culture, community and creativity) , Dhai Aakhar Prem Ke, Navras, Save Our City, and India Live Events.
The evening was hosted at Chhabra’s Old Town, while Bhikha Ram Chandmal joined as the gift partner and City Live as the broadcast partner.
The successful coordination of the event was led by Anu Sogani and Divya Meena.
