Jaipur: The India Pinkfest – SMAI Annual Art Innovation Award 2027 has opened entries, inviting young artists and art students to showcase their creativity, artistic vision, originality, and innovative approach to art.

The award provides emerging artists with an opportunity to present their work, explore new artistic ideas and gain recognition for their creative practice. Entry is free, with cash prizes worth over ₹50,000 for outstanding creativity and artistic innovation.

Promoting Emerging Artistic Talent

The awards are intended to honor talented artists while encouraging and recognizing emerging voices in the field of art. The initiative was launched in 2025 and is presented in the field of painting as part of India Pink Fest, Jaipur.

Since its inception, the award has aimed to create opportunities for young artists to receive recognition for their creativity, experimentation and artistic innovation.

Who Can Participate?

The award is open to emerging artists and art students meeting the specified eligibility requirements:

Age: 16 to 30 years
Academic Background: Students pursuing Art, Fine Arts, Art Practice or related art disciplines
Participation Level: School, college, state and national levels

Recommendation: Entries may be recommended or endorsed by a recognized art institution, art fraternity, gallery, curator or art professional, subject to the applicable requirements.
